The PTA asked current Radburn parents for their best tips for new families. Here are the four most popular tips:

1. Read the weekly newsletter from the principal.
It has important school and PTA updates, dates, links, flyers, and reminders all in one place. Radburn is paperless, so this is often where you’ll find important updates and reminders.

2. Join the PTA social groups.
The PTA is a valuable resource for information, and other parents are often helpful in grade-level chats. Join the Radburn WhatsApp Community and the Parents of Radburn Elementary Facebook group. There is a WhatsApp group for every grade. If you cannot find the link to join, fill out the form below to get it!

3. Don’t miss half-day pizza.
On half days, the PTA usually offers pizza lunch as a fundraiser. Watch for ordering deadlines — over 80% of the school participates on half-day pizza days!

4. Support the PTA in the way that works best for you.
Whether it’s joining, fundraising, attending meetings, or volunteering, every bit of support helps. The PTA does so much for the school, and membership support is instrumental to our success. Volunteering is also a great way to meet and get to know other parents.
